Kunditi nzenza nokuti ndakuda!

Here is a poem that I wrote some years back. But felt it is relevant this year especially on the fact that this year it is the women who should be showering their men with Valentine's Day gifts and presents. This is easy in the other parts of the world but when it comes to our part of the world, women are regarded as loose if they propose to men. How do you take it? Is it possible for our women here to say to men, I love you and be accorded the same respect with the women the men has proposed to? let us discuss this ?

iye ndokunditarirawo.
Ndakanyemwerera

Wanike wangu mwoyo nyevenu,
pedyo naye ndiye swedere
iye ndiye kure neni taraukire.
Ini aizve, zvaita sei?
Iye wake muromo sone.
Ini pedyozve swederere,
iye sakare kure neni taraukire.
Ini nhaiwe mwana iwe!
Iye wake muromo mwiro.
Ndikati ndazomuwana
sekuudzwa kwandaiitwa natete munhanga
kana wanzi tsvaru rego ita magamira mudenga muswe wengavi.
Iti pfavava sebvumbi,
kunge risingarumi icho chiri chikara.
Wozonyudza ako meno adikitira.
Ndikati pada kana mugota shoko rasekuru ndiro ndiro neratete.
Ndikati namangwana handineti kudikitira.
Ini ndiye sazuro uya ruoko sumudze,
iye rwakewo sumudze.
Ini inga dzadyira wani,
sango zvarinopa waneta wani
neni apa handineti,
chiregai ndipotsere riri shoko.
Ndokurikanda kwaari wemugota.
Ndokunzi zvakatanga rini nhai wenhanga?
Ini yava ipi iyi zvakare?
Zvikanzi kuti musikana avambe mukomana?
Ini iyi yokuganha hauna kumboinzwasu?
Zvikanzi anenge anonokerwa neshoko?
Ini zvasiyanei mwachewe?
Iye ndokuti kudii kwazvo?
Ini zvatangoenzana wani?
Iye a-a, iwe!
Ini wangu mwoyo chidokwadokwa kwauri muchinda
dai waiva uta wakadauka kare ukati pauri tika.
Iye ndokuti zii akadaro.
Ini asi harina kupinda munzevesu?
Iye ndokunditi dzokera kwatete undorairwa.
Ini saka hatisati tafananazve!
Hamenozve iwe nzenza.
Ini kunditi nzenza nokuti ndakuda?
